    That is a bit trickier.. but not impossible…

    you just set your apt sources so that deb-src points to woody..

    (i just might do an article about this later on)

    then you get the sources for kde, and run dpkg-buildpackage on the sources..

    that will create (after a quite of a while of compiling) kde debs for potato..

    also you can check if the unofficial apt sources list has a source which has KDE for potato.

    I’m replying to my own post here. I’ve found that there are KDE2 packages for Potato. All you need is the following line in your /etc/apt/sources.list file, then select task-kde in dselect or apt-get:

    deb potato contrib kde kde2
