I switched from Debian to Mandrake, and then Red Hat, and now that Woody is finally sorted out (GLibC 2.2, XFree 4.0.2, etc.) and GNOME 1.4 beta is out I’m moving back…

Still waiting for the unofficial CD images to download – guess I might have to play with E 0.17-DR for a while then :p.

What’s new in Sawfish 0.37? 0.36 works fine, perhaps you can downgrade for the moment..

    Regards,

    Michel

whoopsy, still had crappy helix packages about for rep and rep-gtk-gnome

basically, those were at fault, i suggest you purge anything with helix in the title, and get normal ones from a normal debian site (i’m doing the same here as we speak) then get ximian’s betas for anything they offer

(dpkg -l |grep hel > somefile.txt gives a decent list of helix versioned packages you have. kill them off with dpkg –purge –force-depends, and make sure you reinstall them again from normal debian sources, instead of helix ones)

helixgnome 1.2 and ximian gnome 1.4b1 don’t mix well 🙂
