    I'm trying to create a package for potato

    using apt-get source --compile emacs21 with the emacs21 source from sid. The compilation fail with error "makeinfo, no such file or directory".

    Where I can find makeinfo ?

    I just dowloaded the source from GNU, and it compiled really easily. I just wanted to see what it looked like, not actually install it. It's quite weird to see, especially info mode.

    Just to wind up (or encourage) those who haven't tried it yet, this new Emacs is great; goodbye Xemacs (for me, at least).
