    Well, why are you using a 68k system to do the build? Can’t we ese GCC as a cross-compiler, and then we only need to do the tests on the native target.

    ok, I’ll bite.

    glibc being so important and all, could I speed things up significantly by re-compiling the glibc debian sources for i686 ?? +5% would make it worth doing.. Might as well do X while I was at it. Any others? Doing everything would be silly, and I’d like to stay with the official woody apt-get sources, so the unofficial potato i686 deb’s aren’t for me.

    On my play machine first of course.
