    Nautilus 1.0 out
Posted on Tuesday, March 13 @ 16:50:30 GMT

    Eazel
Although Eazel are keeping quiet about it, Nautilus 1.0 came out in binary and source form yesterday. Rumour has it that Ximian have debian packages. Expect to see the Nautilus 1.0 release in sid when the maintainer has time to package it. Hopefully this time it will work with M18-2 which is currently in sid. Congrats should go to everyone who has worked hard on its development.

Ximian has packages of mozilla 0.7 in their gnome 1.4beta1 distribution, how hard can it be to adapt those control files to 0.8 and package it for sid?

    It's split up into mozilla, mozilla-browser, mozilla-mailnews, mozilla-chatzilla, mozilla-psm, mozilla-xmlterm and libnspr4.

Hm... Mozilla, one of the most important and interesting Opensource Projects is two(!) Versions behind in our Unstable Distribution. Am I the only one who thinks that is a shame? 🙁

Especially cause there are at least Mozilla 0.7 packages floating around at Progeny and Ximian.

When are we going to download nautilus for woody through ximian?

Is there another way to get it?

    Apart from compiling it....

nautilus´ 1.0 README file says it won´t work with mozilla 0.7 and older.

now, M18? is anyone who actually uses mozilla still stuck with that old version? what happened with 0.6, 0.7 and 0.8 packages?

    cheers,
