    About the recent downtime
Posted on Saturday, January 19 @ 14:28:49 GMT

    Site Updates
We had MySQLd die some fifteen hours ago and Debian Planet was down until rob restarted it. The reason for the failure is still unknown.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and sorry to bother you with site problems yet again.

Why aren't you running mySQLd under daemontools/supervise?

That way mySQLd would have been restarted automagically.
