    As pointed out in a /. discussion today (or yesterday), this ‘patch’ by the NSA only contains Mandatory Access Controlls (MAC) for the Linux kernel and no strong crypto whatsoever. It only provides a system to better delegate the rights to access certain parts of the system. I’m not aware of any US law that would prevent exporting this.

    Note: I didn’t actually ‘research’ if there’s really no strong crypto involved in this project, but that’s what I read earlier. As sheepishly as my actions are I’m now just copying that message …
