Behold the power of the GPL: Nautilus 1.0.4
Posted on Monday, July 09 @ 12:06:57 BST

Even after Eazel's unfortunate demise, work continues on Nautilus, the GNOME desktop shell. Version 1.0.4 of which recently entered unstable and comes packed with enough eye-candy to feed a developing nation. Of course, its functional too 😉 Yet this development has only been able to continue as Eazel released Nautilus under the GPL, so let that be a lesson for you, if you want ever lasting respect and appreciation, release your code under the GPL.

I wonder why it still has the Eazel logo on the top-right. It looks kinda ugly with the default Nautilus theme which is very nice btw.

Is there any chance Nautilus will make it into woody?
