    Enlightenment .17 CVS

    Ask Debianplanet
Does anyone know if there is an apt source for the enlightenment 17 CVS branch of code? I'm looking for the ability to apt-get or apt-get source the code, and atleast check it out on my box.

rob: There are some here, but they are updated infrequently because the development of E17 has been slowed by the development of EVAS.

The debs packaged by ljlane are quite old... I grabbed them last week and they were dated from sometime in May. In relation to CVS, those are ancient, considering CVS development takes place daily.

As I recall though, all the modules in CVS have 'debian' directories that help with people who want to "apt-get" them and build and install deb packages from the source files. I haven't done this myself though. ljlane has more information about doing this here: http://people.debian.org/~ljlane/?cvsbuild

i think it's too early for real debian packages

because it's not usable at the moment. i grabbed the cvs-tree and compiled it on my own.

Rasterman won't even accept bug-reports at this moment, because it's too early.
