I want KDE 3 as badly as the next guy, but that isn’t really relevant.

Remember *we* (developers, testers, users) as a community are releasing our new stable release. If we really want to offer quality, we need to keep on the right track and follow the right priorities.

Flaming people who are working their butt off to make us happy with “apt-get install whateverpackage” is just insane.

So let us release woody first and then we’ll see about XFree version x and KDE version y. If other distro’s are releasing beta software as a main desktop just to sell more cd boxes, it’s their choice (and in the mean time do some q&a for us :c) ).

If you really need the latest of the latest untested software, you don’t really don’t want debs or rpms, but you should really have a look at cvs.

    C. (who’s damn happy about the work that de Debian KDE people have been doing for *him*).
