Old news: Open Office uploaded to contrib

DebianThis is old news, but it has been included in this week’s DWN so its best if we mention it here too. On the 20th of August it was announced that OpenOffice.org packages had been uploaded to contrib. However this is no indication that the packages will enter the archive, they may be rejected by the ftpmasters following testing and examination. Therefore the packages are not yet available in the archive.

… according to this post, it has a dependency on libstlport, which has apparently been removed 🙁 (It certainly doesn’t seem to appear in testing or unstable)

Can anyone fill me in on why stlport was removed?
