OLinux Interviews the DPL Ben Collins
Submitted by Netsnipe on Saturday, April 07, 2001 – 16:24
As a few anonymous readers have pointed out to us that Ben Collins, the new DPL has given his first interview to the Brazilian Linux portal, OLinux(interview in English). The interview is rather lack lustre and contains all the generic questions you can expect from a DPL interview with any general Linux site such as why one thinks Debian is one of the best distros, etc… One gem that Collins reveals is that his plans “are to get Debian moving rather than continue to limp along with some of the problems we face,” though he isn’t given the chance to explain what those problems are in his opinion. Rest assured that once we get any of that precious commodity called time, DebianPlanet will give him the full opportunity to present himself to the Debian community, which will hopefully be rather soon.
