|Ok, this seems pretty straightforward.. I’m begining to get interested in IPv6 implementations.. So, what can one currently do on the IPv6 internet? What connectivity is there?
It seems that 6to4 is routed over IPv4 to 188.8.131.52, which doesn’t reverse-dns, but traceroutes to ltt-ipv6-gw1.hel.fi.sn.net (184.108.40.206) 160 ms .. This is IPv4 Anycast, it appears.. When I traceroute from my home machine, I get a machine on kddnet.ad.jp that is in the local (San Francsico) area, only 14 ms.
Odd choice from the office (different upstream provider), but damn cool that IPv4 Anycast works (at least a little, if not optimal).
ip -6 route add 2000::/3 via ::220.127.116.11 dev sit1
Doesn’t that only add routing for the 2000::/3 network? What about the 6bone or hardwire networks? How do you reach them?
